About Tabu Social Club
Tabu Social Club is a members-only lifestyle club at 1115 North Rolling Road in Catonsville, Maryland, just outside Baltimore. It opened in 2004, runs Friday and Saturday nights, and describes itself as more a lifestyle club than just a club for swingers.
Memberships are granted at the door to couples and single women who are 21 and over. Photo ID and a signed agreement are required, with no interview. Single men enter only through the club's sponsored-male or date-male programs.
The club is BYOB with all setups free and has a DJ, dance poles, and a dance cage. It also runs Vicki's Lounge, a set of private VIP suites assigned by an attendant. Black Ring Swing's site says its hosts took over Tabu on July 1, 2026.
What to Expect at Tabu Social Club
Every weekend carries a theme. Fall 2026 lists Blackout nights on September 26, October 9, and Halloween. October also brings a 50 Shades of Play Orange Event on the 2nd, an Anything Anywhere Party on the 3rd, and Hallow-Swing on the 10th. A Day of the Dead night follows on the 17th and a Pink Save the Ta Ta's party on the 24th.
Friday, October 23 is a Casual and Newbie Night, and Black Ring Swing hosts Bling on November 14. The club promises a no-pressure environment where many members come to dance and drink with their date.
Vicki's Lounge is the play area: private suites assigned by the attendant, with time limits when others are waiting, no dancing, and no loud conversation. Single men must be accompanied by a woman or a couple at all times inside it.
Who Can Attend
Couples and single women 21 and over can join at the door. The couple membership belongs to the woman, and 2026 rates are listed at cash-discounted prices, with cards slightly higher. Your first visit pays both the membership and the visit fee.
Single men have two routes. A member of six months can sponsor one single male for the life of their membership by email, never at the door. Or a current member can bring a date male by emailing the club by 7 PM that day. He pays $10 over the single-male door rate.
The club asks single men not to email asking for a sponsor or date. Cameras and phone photos are banned. Drugs anywhere on the property mean removal and a call to authorities, and no pay for play of any kind is tolerated.

Friday 9 PM to 2 AM and Saturday 9 PM to 3 AM. Regular and Blackout nights carry different visit packages, and a weekend pass covers both nights. Amounts are shown in the rates page menus and broken down at the door.
All alcohol must leave the club by 2 AM or be discarded.
Planning a First Visit
Arrive as a couple or single woman with photo ID and your own bottle. You can join at the door and pay the membership plus visit package in cash for the discounted rate. Friday, October 23, 2026 is a Casual and Newbie Night built for first-timers.
Leave your phone camera off, or ask for a no-photo wristband. If you want to bring a single male friend, email tabulife@tabulife.com by 7 PM that day with both names and your member number.
