About Play Champagne
Play Champagne calls itself the hottest complete hotel takeovers in the Midwest. Its Illinois home is the Renaissance Suites in Glenview, an all-suite hotel with a seven-story atrium. The club takes over the hotel, restaurant, and bar for two days.
The next Glenview event is Dirty Dizzy Halloween from October 16 to 18, 2026. The host hotel is already sold out, with overflow hotels to be announced. Red Dress follows on February 12 to 14, 2027.
The same company runs takeovers in Charlotte, Indianapolis, Southfield, Franklin, Tampa, and Lexington. Every event is whole-hotel BYOB and on-premise, with group themed playrooms and an expanded impact room in a private hotel location.
What to Expect at Play Champagne
A takeover weekend opens with a Friday meet and greet. Saturday brings a room crawl and main events with lasers, LED, and multiple DJs. Afternoons bring topless-optional pool parties, classes such as sensory, Kama Sutra, and Nuru massage, and afternoon delights in the themed playrooms.
Nights end in the convention-level afterparty with revive snacks. The indoor pool stays open 24 hours, breakfast is a complimentary hot buffet with an omelet station, and parking and Wi-Fi are free.
The rules page is standard for on-premise events. Couples arrive and leave together, no means no, ask before touching, and anyone in a play area who is not playing whispers or stays quiet. Cameras and drugs are banned.
