About Pleasure Bound Studios
Pleasure Bound Studios is a vetted kink and BDSM community in Olympia, Washington. Its mission is support and education for people in the alternative, BDSM, fetish, and leather lifestyles. It runs play parties in a private studio plus roundtables, munches, and classes.
Edge Events, which shares the calendar, hosts classes and larger parties at the Catalyst Center in Olympia and Tumwater. Those include a Sensation Play series, a fall kink vendor fair, and a Not My Circus Halloween party on October 24, 2026.
This is not a swinger club and not a bar. PBS says it is not a sexual establishment, and parties are alcohol and drug free. Every attendee is personally vetted by two founders before getting the address.
What to Expect at Pleasure Bound Studios
Newcomers start at a meet and greet, like September 24 at Katsu Burger in Lacey, or an Olympia munch. After vetting, the calendar opens up. A BDSM Play Party on September 26, Kinky Game Night on October 3, and a Little's party on October 10 follow. Each runs 8 PM to midnight at the studio.
Play parties run under dungeon monitors whose word is final. Scenes are capped at one hour including setup and aftercare. The default safewords are Red, Yellow, and No, and heavy impact or blood play needs approval first. Watersports and scat play are banned.
Everyone arrives vanilla to the front door with fetish wear under a coat. Guests bring one potluck item plus their own toys and towels and clean their space afterward. Social chatter stays out of the play space.
Who Can Attend
Adults 18 and over who complete vetting by two trustees or founders, show photo ID, and sign waivers. Every partner, spouse, or friend must be vetted separately before attending.
PBS Basic Membership is required for events. The community spans all experience levels, genders, orientations, and races by its own mission statement.
Prices are not published without a login. Members are asked not to hit on newcomers at public meet and greets.

Join a Zoom informational meeting or show up to a meet and greet in Lacey or Lakewood, then get vetted. Buy the Basic Membership and a party ticket once approved.
Wear a coat over fetish wear, bring a potluck item, a non-alcoholic drink, your own toys and towels, and photo ID. Leave alcohol at home.
