About Club Privata
Club Privata is a members-only on-premise lifestyle nightclub at 824 SW 1st Avenue in downtown Portland, Oregon. It spreads across three floors with two full-service bars and, by its own count, more than 20 beds.
The club opens Thursday from 8 PM to 2 AM and Friday and Saturday from 8 PM to 3 AM. Every guest needs a membership plus the event's door fee. Membership is sold in tiers from one night to one year for couples, single women, and single men.
Because the bars are full service, no outside liquor is allowed. Non-alcoholic drinks are included with membership, condoms and supplies are stocked throughout, and lockers and showers are free.
What to Expect at Club Privata
The first floor has a renovated couples-only lounge and the showers. The second floor has rooms with doors that close. The third floor adds a second couples-only lounge with three private rooms and a VIP suite that can be reserved on Fridays and Saturdays. The third floor stays closed on Thursdays.
Rules are strict and posted. Phones stay off inside, photography is banned, and the dress code is enforced at the door. Men may be nude only while actively playing on a bed, while women may be nude but must keep shoes on.
Twice a month the club runs Newbie's Night parties, once on a Thursday and once on a Friday, with no membership required. A First Thursday Erotic Art Show also skips the membership fee.
Who Can Attend
Adults 21 and over with valid ID every visit. Each person signs a waiver with their legal identity, which the club screens against sex offender databases. Non-binary and transgender guests are welcome, with pricing handled privately at check-in.
Couples pay $40 for three months, $60 for six, or $100 for a year. Single women pay $20, $30, or $50 and single men $60, $100, or $150. One-night and weekend memberships are sold at the door, the weekend option only for visitors from more than 120 miles away.
Door fees vary by event and are on the calendar. Military ID takes $10 off. Members may bring a first-time guest at the member door rate.
