616 is a West Michigan lifestyle social club that hosts complete two-day hotel takeovers every couple of months in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and Newaygo. The club dates to the 1990s, and its current hosts took over in January 2012.

Its Kalamazoo venue is a 182-room hotel with a poolside atrium, taken over in full so members never need to leave the building. Poolside rooms have large windows onto the atrium, and the club sells them as the voyeur and exhibitionist option.

What to Expect at 616

The Halloween takeover on October 23 and 24, 2026 opens with a hosted pool and hot tub party Saturday from 3 to 6 PM. A cash bar runs in the atrium. DJ Donnie D plays poolside with a dance floor, pole, and light show from 8 PM to 1 AM. The hotel restaurant serves dinner both nights and breakfast Saturday.

The 3,000-plus square foot VIP after-party room opens at 10 PM Saturday with 616's own equipment: custom bench swings, a St. Andrew's cross, and a ladies-only bed. It is hosted, so someone is always there to answer questions.

Members add their own activities across the weekend. The Halloween list includes an intro to rope workshop, impact demos, a ladies' meet-up, and an LGBTQIA+ meet-up. It also has a new member welcome, sensual bingo, karaoke, a cuddle room, and a photo booth.

Who Can Attend

Membership is required and must be registered online before you reserve. The club accepts no walk-ins, though you do not need a hotel room to attend. Dues are included in event prices, and the FAQ says members range from 21 to 65-plus, most 30 to 50.

Couples and single ladies register directly. Single gentlemen attend only when sponsored by a couple in good standing. The couple is responsible for him all night and must leave when he does. An unattended sponsored guest can cost the couple their membership.

Every event is strictly 21 and over with ID checked at the 616 desk. The consent policy requires permission before any touch, including a hug, and treats intoxication past the point of driving as inability to consent.

Halloween 2026 is October 23 and 24 in Kalamazoo. Saturday-only tickets are $100 for couples, $50 for single ladies, and $100 for single gentlemen; both nights cost $135, $70, and $135. Two-night room and event packages are $420 for couples and $370 for single ladies.

New Year's Eve is a two-night Red Carpet Hollywood Nights takeover. One-day tickets run $100, $50, and $100; two-day tickets $155, $80, and $150; two-night room packages $435 for couples and $380 for single ladies. A Spring Fever takeover is listed for 2027.

Planning a First Visit

Register for membership on 616gr.com, wait for approval, then reserve tickets or a room package before the posted deadline. Check in with 616 in the hotel lobby between 3 and 9 PM to get your wristband, then check into the hotel.

New members get a tour from the club's guides. Pack street clothes for the lobby and restaurant, a swimsuit or g-string and pasties for the atrium, and a themed outfit for the night. Room packages can be cancelled by email up to 9 PM two days before the event.
